Change in Graduation Ceremony Dates

Dear Parents,

We are doing everything we can to ensure that the school and church remain open and not be forced to close due to the recent rise in covid cases. Therefore, the NLIS 2022 graduation ceremony will be separated by grade levels and held on three different days. All ceremonies will be held in the auditorium. Please see the new schedule below.

Kindergarten class: Wednesday, March 2 at 2:30-2:50

6th graders: Thursday, March 3 at 2:30-3:00

9th graders: Friday, March 4 at 2:45-3:20

Parents of the graduates may attend in person but no other family or friends, please. The three graduation ceremonies will be posted on YouTube on the school’s channel so all family members and students can view this special time. After the ceremony, parents may take the graduating children and any siblings home for that day. Classes will continue through Wednesday, March 9, and the remaining days will be filled with learning and activities that end the school year in a positive way.

March 9th, the last day of school, will be a half-day from 9:00 to 12:00. No lunch will be needed on the last day.
