Kindergarten through high school sophomore (K-12 from 2024)  
Licensed English kindergarten for ages 4 and 5.
Tuition for kindergarten is only 13,000 a month for those who qualify for the working tuition discount.  
Elementary school, grades one through six.
Junior High, grades 7-9 (junior high 1-3)
High School to grade 10 (high school 1)
11th grade (grade 2) will start in 2023, and 12th grade (grade 3) will start in 2024.

NLIS provides the following:
  • an all-English education from kindergarten through high school
  • 14 to 1 student-teacher ratio enabling teachers to know the level of the students and helping them to achieve their best
  • qualified, trained, experienced teachers 
  • advanced placement classes for the high school students
  • one computer per student in grades 3 through 8

NLIS is working hard toward gaining accreditation through the Western  Association of Schools and Colleges, WASC.

Teachers Wanted!

Wanted:  One full-time high school teacher for a small class of wonderful students!  The teacher must have a teacher's certificate and be an active Christian.  The teacher will teach most of the subjects, including Bible class.  All texts and materials are provided.  Great benefits and a good salary.

Wanted:  One part-time junior high and high school Japanese teacher. A native Japanese teacher needed to teach kanji and literature to our junior high and high school classes.  The teacher must be an active Christian.  This is 4 mornings a week, Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 to 11:15.  The pay is 2000 yen an hour.  There are one to three 45 minute classes four days a week. Kokugo texts and other materials are provided.
