New Life International School's vision is quality English Christian education in a safe, loving, family atmosphere. The vision is for NILS students to become active, independent, expressive, and loving students. All teachers and staff work hard to promote the NLIS vision and mission.

Founded in 2015, the students come from over thirteen countries worldwide. NLIS has a US-based curriculum, has candidacy in grades 1 through 9 with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and is working toward full accreditation in grades 1 through 12.

Qualifications and Child Protection

All teachers at NLIS:

  • are committed followers of Christ in belief and practice.

  • have a love of their subject and a love for children.

  • have a bachelor's degree in an appropriate major.

  • have a relevant teacher certification from a government authority.

  • must be native English speakers. 

  • must be prepared to undergo a full background check and commit to all school policies concerning child protection.

NLIS Teacher benefits: 

  • Visa sponsorship (already being in Japan is preferred, but will hire overseas)

Full-time Elementary teachers:

     -  3rd Grade Teacher

     -  5/6th Grade Teacher

Full-time Secondary teacher:

     -  High school math and science teacher   

​
