Dear Parents,

We were informed yesterday that the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) requires teachers to train for accreditation for three days in October. The days are Wednesday, October 4th, the 11th, and the 18th, from 2:00 to 4:00. The meetings are held on Zoom and cannot be changed. Therefore, school will be closed from 1:45 on each of the three days. We will not be able to watch the children after school these days. The training will help ensure our success in completing the 100-page school report due in June 2024. As mentioned, we must pass this step to get visited to receive full accreditation. The visit will be anytime from the fall of 2024 to the spring of 2025.

Obtaining accreditation is not done only with the teachers but with your help and support. Thank you.
