Who will be the fastest in the school? Can you do it? Yes, you can! Come and try!
All students are invited to come every Tuesday morning from 8:35 to 8:50 and compete in a math race! Let’s meet in the cafeteria upstairs at 8:35 every Tuesday in June only.
Please come from June 3. Tables, papers, and stopwatches will be ready! Students, please bring two sharpened pencils. You will solve addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division problems as fast as you can, an average of 36 problems per minute! You can come and take the test every Tuesday in June until you win!
· Grades 4 through 12 must answer 144 facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) in 4 minutes with zero mistakes.
· Grade 3 must answer 108 facts (addition, subtraction, and multiplication) in 3 minutes with zero mistakes.
· Grades 1 & 2 must answer 72 facts (addition and subtraction only) in 4 minutes with zero mistakes.
The students who reach the goal will receive a certificate and a small bag of candy in the July’s student assembly, and we will publish their picture on the school website and on Facebook.
