Hello!
The students and teachers had a delightful, warm day on their field trip. Many said it was “the best field trip ever.” The winner of the most strawberries was a junior high boy who ate 70 strawberries. I asked him if he still liked strawberries, and he said, “No!” Poor guy! I did a similar thing with strawberries when I was in 6th grade, but I still love them.

27 T Teacher's Meeting 3:35 – 5:00
June 3, 10, 17, 24 T Baseball Math Races
Every Tuesday morning in June, I will meet with students in the cafeteria at 8:35 for the annual Baseball Math Races. I posted the “Baseball Math” letter earlier this week and have given practice sheets to all the teachers. If your child wants to participate, they should also ask their teacher for a sheet to practice at home. Practice is necessary to win. Quickly recalling addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication facts is essential for all students, so I hope you will encourage your children to try it! They can take it every Tuesday in June until they succeed.
Have a wonderful Golden Week (or days) in May and thank you for supporting the school.
Warmly,
Suzy Brown,
Principal
