Midorigaoka Field Trip

Dear Parents,

We are going to Midorigaoka Gym and Park on Friday, November 26. Please see the information on the permission slip below. We will send this home with your child for you to sign. If any can help with transportation, especially in the 1st and 2nd grade classroom, please let Miss Stadius know. Thank you!

Field Trip Permission Form

Our school will be attending a field trip as follows:

Location: Midorigaoka Gymnasium and Park

Activities: Students will play basketball, badminton, compete in various relays, have a picnic lunch, and play "Capture the Flag Mode of transportation: Teachers and students will walk to and from the park. It's a little over two kilometers, so students will need comfortable shoes. However, if any parent could volunteer to take a group of children in the morning, especially the 1st and 2nd grade class, it would really help. Walking to and from the gym and then playing all day is very exhausting. Please see any of the teachers if you can help.

When: Day: Friday Date: November 26

Time: Leave school at 9:05 am Return to school: 2:00 pm

Cost: 150 yen to cover the cost of renting the gym and nets for 4 hours.

Additional instructions: Children need a jacket, lunch (obento), indoor shoes and a bag, a vinyl mat, and extra water. A backpack and comfortable shoes are recommended since we will walk to and from the park and play in the park. If there is a chance of rain, children will need raincoats and umbrellas.

Parents are welcome to join us on this day.

Please return the permission slip to your child's teacher by Wednesday, November 24.
