Safe, fun play for our young children

Hello Parents!

From April 2022, all children from kindergarten through 2nd grade will no longer have the daily morning recess in the front parking area. We are hiring another assistant to help with the playground duty, so grades kindergarten through 2nd will only use the park for the daily morning recess. It is better for the smaller children to play in the park rather than on the concrete lot. Grades 3 through 6 will continue to alternate using the park and the front parking lot since the older grades enjoy the use of balls and the park forbids ball use.

I hope this is good news for all the parents at NLIS. We want our students to enjoy outdoor exercise in a safe environment.
