Special Speakers from Zoe

Dear Parents,

On Friday, June 12, Zoe at https://www.eng.gozoe.jp/  will give separate presentations to our 1^st through 5^th graders, the 6^th through 12^th graders, and to you, the parents.

The 1^st-5^th grade contents include things like safe touch, internet safety with a special focus on gaming and social media, and resources for help.

The 6^th -12^th grades will have content that is age-appropriate with a focus on sextortion, trafficking, exploitation, pornography, and respecting ourselves and others.

The parent presentations will include warning signs and red flags, tips for keeping their children safe, and resources. The English parent presentation will be held in the auditorium at 2:00 to 3:30. The Japanese parent presentation will be held in the ESL room from 2:00-3:30.   There will be time for questions and answers. Both sessions, Japanese and English will be live-streamed. We will post an invitation for you on Friday. Also, they will provide a video that you can watch online at any time in case you can’t listen on Friday afternoon. We expect about 11 English parents and 11 Japanese parents to come in person. If you can, please join!
